What's useful to include
Bug in the game — the most useful reports include:
- Your browser and version (e.g. Chrome 138, Safari on iOS 18)
- Desktop or mobile, and whether you were using mouse, touch, or keyboard
- Difficulty you were playing
- What you did, what happened, and what you expected instead
If a specific board did something strange, a screenshot helps a lot.
Error in the guides — tell us which page and which claim. If a pattern deduction on the strategy page is wrong, or a number on the rules page doesn't match, we want to fix it quickly. Corrections get made and the page updated.
Accessibility problem — keyboard navigation and screen reader support are things we deliberately built for, so if something is broken for you, that's a bug we treat as high priority. Please mention your assistive technology and version.
Strategy question — if you're stuck on a position and can't tell whether it was solvable or a forced guess, send a screenshot. That's a question we enjoy.
Privacy question — see the privacy policy first, since it covers advertising cookies and how to opt out. Anything it doesn't answer, ask.
Before you write
A few questions arrive often enough that the answer is already on the site, and you'll get it faster by reading than by waiting for a reply.
"The game gave me an unwinnable position." Sometimes true, sometimes not. Classic Minesweeper does not guarantee that every board is solvable without guessing, so genuine forced guesses do exist — but most positions that look like coin flips are actually resolvable by counting mines against the total remaining, rather than looking at one number in isolation. The strategy page works through exactly that technique. If you've applied it and the position still doesn't resolve, send the screenshot; those cases are interesting.
"My first click hit a mine." That shouldn't happen. The first click of every game is guaranteed safe because mines are placed after it, not before. If you have a reproducible case, it's a real bug and we want it.
"The timer kept running after I won." Also a bug worth reporting, with your browser version.
"Can I use the game on my own site?" Ask, and say roughly where and for what. It's a short conversation, not a form.

- SEO and marketing services. Not interested.
- Buying the domain. It isn't for sale.
